Have been traveling a fair bit in the past month or so...now that all my yearly vacation is used up (but for half a day), it's time to do a little recap, reminisce in the memories, and gear up for next year's vacation!!

Started off with a trip to California to attend my cousin's wedding. My parents and brother flew over for the event as well, and it was a lovely mini family reunion (sans Isabel). This trip also started the gastronomically pleasing month of gorging on my beloved Malaysian/Chinese local cuisine. Mmmmmm...

Mom and myself - the parasols that were provided at the venue was genius.

By the end of the night, my feet were tired, and I amused myself building a house of cards, for which supplies were gamely provided by the waitstaff working there as they cleared up the other tables.

 

That day was coincidentally the one year anniversary of me being a divorcee. I can't think of a better way to have spent it --- dressed up to the nines, and surrounded by family and fun.
