Isabel's daycare recently hosted an art show featuring work from the kids...

This is Isabel's masterpiece...

And then after that, there was lunch provided. She was so excited to have me there to sit on a little chair next to her.

I am so glad that I made the effort to go for this because almost all the kids had a parent there. And I hate to think of her sitting alone without anyone by her side.

And just because it's so rare for me to have a picture WITH Isabel, since I'm usually the one behind the camera, here's another one from later that same day...don't we both look so different from the picture above?!!
