The majority of her clothes are hand-me-downs, which I am grateful for. But to elevate the guilt somewhat of not "providing" for her, I try to do little things...
Isabel loves pockets. And coats/sweaters.
So a plain hand-me-down pullover + some cute fabric...
= custom jazzed up sweater with a kangaroo pocket.
This is what happens when I have 5 minutes to spare...and I like doing pointless things, apparently.

My kids love pockets, too! I hate sewing them on to things (I have such a hard time making them look neat/nice), but they love pockets so much I can't possibly leave them off.
