Silver Linings...

My daughter is sick. Double ear infections, crusted up nose, and she wheezes like an old man. So she's been sleeping with me at night. She's a kicker. And a pillow hogger.

Silver lining: she woke up this morning, sat up, scooted over to me, lifted the hair off my face, and gave me a kiss. Awwwww....

I've had the stomach bug on Monday, along with all the fun stuff that comes along with it

Silver lining: This morning, I fitted into my skinny jeans without having to call the fire department. Seems like throwing your guts out and not eating a real meal for days can do wonders in that department.
